RN/Supervisor
Position Requirements:

Full- time 3:00 PM to 11:00PM

Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current license in the Commonwealth of Virginia

Current CPR Certification

RN preferred; qualified LPN with one year of Medical experience from the hospital or 2 years of Long Term Care facility will be considered.

Two years experience in a medical/surgical area or Long Term facility.

Previous Supervisory experience required

Must be a self starter with good interpersonal skills

Ability to multitask and resolve conflict while supervising the work of the team.
CNA
Position Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Completed Virginia approved Certified Nurse Aide Training program with current Virginia Aid Certificate.

VHRC is seeking an experienced F/T sales professional with exceptional phone presentation & consultative/relationship selling techniques, to join our team and sell our new 75 Independent Living apartment expansion. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Maintains target census for the current independent living apartments in addition to securing pre-sales for the planned expansion.

Actively manages all aspects of the sales process from preliminary qualification of potential residents through closing the sale. Works closely with the move-in coordinator to ensure a smooth transition into the community.

Meets established activity goals as determined by the Marketing Director. Activities may include but are not limited to telephone follow-up calls, tours, and presentations. Manages and prioritizes own work schedule to meet goals.

Participates in in-house marketing events and open houses. Effectively uses in-house marketing events, resident events, and open houses to further the sales process with prospective residents.
Position Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree with 5 or more years of sales, marketing, customer service or related experience

New construction and CCRC experience a plus

Experience working with military personnel preferred

Administrator/Director of Life Enrichment
We are seeking to hire an Administrator for our Independent Living Residence, who also functions as a Director of Life Enrichment for our community.
The primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Plans, directs, controls, and evaluates all aspects of the operations of the facility to assure consistency with the corporate mission.

Enforces the policies of VHRC to ensure that the highest degree of service is provided to all residents.

Ensures the highest possible customer satisfaction level with all customers of the facility, such as residents and their families, the community, and staff.
-
Effectively communicates with residents, their family members, all levels of personnel, and jurisdictional representatives.
-
Maintains each resident's rights and confidentiality at all times.
-
Develops and monitors financial goals (budget) of the facility and manages its systems to achieve long term fiscal viability.
-
Other responsibilities assigned as per need.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Health Care Administration, Social Work, or similar field and an active Assisted Living Administrator's license in Virginia. Minimum of five years management experience required, with at least three years in a retirement community or other organization or institution providing services to the elderly; and must have familiarity with regulations, guidelines practices and procedures pertaining to retirement communities. Proficient in the use of computers and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent writing and public skills required.
The Administrator is responsible for the operation of Vinson Hall an independent living residence with around 200 residents in accordance with current Federal, and State regulations governing a retirement community. As Director of Life Enrichment this position will facilitate a lifestyle to meet individual resident needs across the community in all levels of care. This would entail exploring what could possibly enhance the quality of life of our residents and add value to their daily living at VHRC. In this role this position would supervise the Chaplain, Special Events Manager and the Concierge Manager.
